Apple set the agenda of the smartphone world by introducing the iPhone 16 series on 9 September. While the technology giant is concentrating on the series that started sales on the 20th, on the other hand, it continues to work on the devices it will introduce next year.
All iPhone 17 models will perform with 120Hz display
It seems that there will be developments that excite Apple lovers in the iPhone 17 series. In addition to iPhone 17 Slim, which will be a first for Apple, artificial intelligence and increased RAM capacity also stand out. However, innovations will not be limited to these.
As it is known, Apple still uses displays with a refresh rate of 60Hz in the standard models of the iPhone 16 series. However, this situation has been heavily criticised by the smartphone world. Many manufacturers offer 120Hz displays on flagship models.
It seems that Apple accepts these criticisms. According to Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Apple is preparing to use 120Hz ProMotion and Always-On displays in all models in the iPhone 17 series.
According to rumours, we will encounter the A17 Pro processor that has passed the 2nm fabrication process in the iPhone 19 series. In this sense, the latest news is that TMSC is preparing for 2nm processor production processes. However, it is a matter of curiosity whether the new Apple processor will catch up with this process.
